Our Valley View girls live in 5 large wood-framed bunkhouses with swings on the porches, each equipped with plumbing and electricity. Approach the rock porch steps and enter a center hallway. The bathroom is straight ahead and two large rooms are on your right and left. Upon arrival, girls select their wooden bunk and begin to make friends immediately. One wrangler is assigned as the immediate counselor to a group of no more than five girls, and she lives in the cabin with them. There are two cabins in each bunkhouse, with five girls and counselor on each side. In this way, ten girls and two counselors live in every bunkhouse. Ranchers wake up to stunning brow views and the sounds of horses peacefully grazing in the fields outside their screened-in windows.
